Canstar Promotional Pricing Offer

Promotion Terms & Conditions

1. Promotion Overview

This promotional offer provides eligible customers with special promotional pricing via Canstar equal to 95% of ReadySet Insurance’s standard direct retail pricing (equivalent to a 5% discount) on eligible ReadySet travel insurance policies purchased through the Canstar platform.
This promotional pricing is automatically reflected in the prices displayed on Canstar during the promotion period. No discount code, voucher, or manual action is required by the customer.

 

2. Promotion Period

This offer is valid for purchases made:
•From: 9 December 2025
•To: 11:59pm AEDT, 31 January 2026

Purchases made outside this period are not eligible for this promotional pricing.

 

3. Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the promotional pricing:

  • Customers must be referred directly via the Canstar website during the promotion period, and
  • The insurance policy must be quoted, purchased, and paid for within the same Canstar journey (referred only via the Canstar website)

If a customer:

  • Leaves the Canstar website and later returns via another channel, or
  • Purchases directly via the ReadySet website or another partner channel, the promotional pricing will not apply.

 

4. How the Discount is Applied

The 5% promotional discount is applied to:

  • The base policy premium, and
  • All optional add-ons, including (but not limited to):
    Cruise Cover, Winter Sports Cover, Rental Vehicle Excess Cover, Medical screening premiums

The discount is:

  • Built into the displayed prices on Canstar, and
  • Automatically applied through the purchase journey.

Customers do not need to enter any code or take any additional action.

 

5. Endorsements, Changes & Manual Adjustments

Any quote issued during the promotional period will remain valid for 30 days from the date of issue, even if the policy is purchased after the promotion end date, provided no changes are made to the original quote. However:

  • If a policy is purchased using the promotional pricing and any changes, endorsements, or amendments are requested after the promotional period ends, those changes will be re-quoted at the standard (non-discounted) retail price, and the original discount will not apply to the amended premium; and
  • If a quote email is issued during the promotional period but any changes, endorsements, or amendments are requested after 11:59pm AEDT on 31 December 2025 (before purchase), the entire quote will be re-quoted at the standard (non-discounted) retail price, and the promotional pricing will no longer apply.

 

6. Relationship to Other Offers

This Canstar promotional pricing:

  • Is not represented as the lowest price available across all channels, and
  • May differ from voucher-based discounts, partner offers, or other campaigns available through other distribution channels from time to time.

Unless expressly stated:

  • This promotion cannot be combined with any other voucher, discount code, or promotional offer.

 

7. Non-Transferability

This promotional pricing:

  • Is not transferable,
    Cannot be:
  • Redeemed for cash,
  • Exchanged, or
  • Applied retrospectively to an existing policy.

 

8. Cooling-Off & Refunds

Standard cooling-off and cancellation rights apply in accordance with:

  • The applicable Product Disclosure Statement (PDS), and
  • The Australian Consumer Law.

If a policy is cancelled and refunded:

  • The refund will be calculated based on the actual premium paid, including the promotional reduction.

9. Pricing Errors & Technical Issues

If any pricing error occurs due to:

  • System malfunction,
  • Transmission error,
  • Third-party platform issue, or
  • Display or configuration error,

 

ReadySet Insurance reserves the right to:

  • Correct the price, or
  • Cancel the policy and issue a full refund, where required by law.

 

10. General Advice Warning

11. Variation or Withdrawal of Promotion

ReadySet Insurance reserves the right to:

  • Amend,

at any time during the promotional period, subject to applicable laws.

 

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

 

13. Promoter

This promotion is conducted by ReadySet Insurance.
